Description of Change: Some components in the expansion tank water lines group have been changed to eliminate interference with the fan guard. The bypass water lines group was changed to eliminate an opening in the water pump inlet elbow. That opening is no longer needed because the line that connected to that opening was eliminated. Also, a new grommet has been added to prevent wear on the bypass tube, and new pipe plugs with sealant and vibration resistant material are used.
Adaptable To: Illustration 1 and Chart A identify the new components in the 9Y-9559 Water Lines Group (Expansion Tank). Illustration 2 and Chart B identify the new components in the 9Y-8928 Water Lines Group (Bypass).
The changes to the 9Y-9559 Water Lines Group (Expansion Tank) are effective with 793B (1HL43) Truck and adaptable to all earlier 793 and 793B Trucks. The changes to the 9Y-8928 Water Lines Group (Bypass) are effective with 793B (1HL93) Truck and adaptable to all earlier 793 and 793B Trucks.
