Fuel Priming Pump Group

Usage:

(1) Pump assembly.

(2) Fuel from electronic control module.

(3) Fuel to fuel manifold.

(4) Fuel filter base. Fuel filter base is mounted to the cylinder head. A remote mounted fuel priming pump group is available.

Fuel Priming Pump Assembly

Pump assembly closed must withstand 310 kPa (45 psi) fuel pressure for 30 seconds with maximum leakage of 0.01 cc (.001 cu in).

Pump assembly open must withstand 310 kPa (45 psi) fuel pressure for 10 seconds with maximum leakage of 1.0 cc (.061 cu in).

(1) Open reference distance ... 147.1 mm (5.79 in)

(2) Plunger Assembly.

(3) Ring. Roll lip of plunger assembly around ring after assembling plunger assembly into barrel (5).

(4) Closed reference distance ... 112.1 mm (4.41 in)

(5) Barrel.

(6) Seal and Ring. For proper assembly, assemble seal and ring to plunger assembly using mandrel and ring pusher. Insert plunger assembly into barrel using resizing tool.

(7) Seal.

Valve (A) and pump must hold 254 ± 5.4 mm (10 ± .2 in) Hg vacuum for 10 seconds.

Valve (B) and pump must hold 68.95 ± 6.90 kPa (10 ± 1 psi) for 10 seconds.
