New Centering Rings For Oversized Main Bearings{0665,1230}

Oversized main bearings have been available for some time and have been installed in many engines. To rebore the cylinder blocks on these engines, oversized centering rings are needed. New centering rings that are .025" (0.63 mm) larger are now available. The 6V138 Centering Ring is .010" (0.25 mm) larger. These new centering rings can be used for line boring blocks with one or more oversized main bores.

The same instructions as shown in the Special Instructions Form GMG00503-02 for standard centering rings are used for oversized centering rings.
