Description of Change: The mounting location of the toggle switch group has been moved to the frame assembly from the fuel priming pump and primary filter group. The new location will not have vibration which will improve the service life of the toggle switch group.

Adaptable To: The 165-5970 Toggle Switch Gp is a part of 356-8381 Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Filter Gp .

The new location for the 165-5970 Toggle Switch Gp is adaptable to the machines BZZ1-682 and RLB1-684.

The new location for the 165-5970 Toggle Switch Gp is effective in production with the machines BZZ683-UP and RLB685-UP.

The Illustration 2 shows the former location of toggle switch group (1) mounting on the 356-8381 Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Filter Gp (2) .

Use the below procedure to relocate the toggle switch group from the former location to new location:

    (B) Dimension 100 ± 3 mm (3.9 ± 0.1 inch)

    (C) Dimension 64 ± 3 mm (2.5 ± 0.1 inch)

    (D) Dimension 505 ± 3 mm (19.9 ± 0.1 inch)

  1. Weld two weld bosses (3) to the frame assembly to the dimensions as shown in Illustration 3.

  1. Install new plate assembly (6) with two bolts (4) and two hard washers (5) to the frame assembly as shown in Illustration 4.

  1. Option 1: Install new chassis harness assembly (8) with three clips (10), two bolts (9), and two hard washers (5) as shown in Illustration 5. Tighten the bolts (9). Goto Step 5.

  1. Option 2: Install new pump harness assembly (12) with three clips (10), two bolts (9), and two hard washers (5) as shown in Illustration 6. Tighten the bolts (9). Continue to Step 5.

  1. Use cable straps (7) in order to tie the chassis harness assembly (8) with clips (10) as shown in Illustration 5.

  1. Install new toggle switch group (11) to the plate assembly (6). Use cable strap to tie the toggle switch group with plate assembly.

  1. Install identification plate (13) to the toggle switch group as shown in Illustration 7.
