This special instruction contains information that is needed to update both platform assemblies to the current production configuration on the 770 and 772 Off-Highway Trucks. The instructions for the relocation of the headlamps on the front of the machines is also provided.
The new platform assemblies are narrower than the former platform assemblies. The new platform assemblies allow better approach angles on the machines during operation. The new position of the headlamps in the cowl assembly helps prevent damage to the headlamps during operation.
