Service Magazine SEPD1291, 4 April 2011, "An Improved Plate Assembly Is Now Used for the Water Manifold Shield Group to Protect Fuel Lines on 793C and 793D Off-Highway Trucks". The article has been revised to add engine serial numbers.

Description of Change: The square tube design in the improved plate assembly will increase the stiffness and reduce the vertical vibration.

The new 363-7252 Plate As (1) is a direct replacement for the former 187-4589 Plate As in the 147-0837 Water Manifold Shield Gp .

The new 363-7252 Plate As is adaptable back to first production on machines with high displacement engines. The new plate assembly is also adaptable on machines that have been retrofitted with high displacement engines.

The new 363-7252 Plate As is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 2.
