Crankshaft Front Seal - Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
Note: Leave the shipping sleeve in place in order to install the crankshaft front seal. The crankshaft front seal must be installed dry.
- Position crankshaft front seal (2) on the crankshaft. This will dislodge the shipping sleeve.
- Install nuts (1). Tighten nuts (1) in a numerical sequence.

- Install the crankshaft vibration damper and pulley. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove and Install".
