Description of Change: New improved bolts that include threadlock are now used on the front housing cover of the engines that are listed above.
Adaptable To: The new 297-1813 Head Screw is a direct replacement for the 174-7462 Screw. The 297-1813 Head Screw is used on all engines that are listed above with the 209-3569 Front Housing Cover Gp. The new 297-1813 Head Screw is adaptable back to the first production of the above listed engines.

Before a used 297-1813 Head Screw is reinstalled, thoroughly clean the threads. Then apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound before installing the screw.
