A New Base for the Engine Oil Cooler and Engine Oil Filter is Now Used {1306, 1378}

Description of Change: A new base for the engine oil cooler and the engine oil filter is now used in order to reduce the chance of oil that may leak into the engine coolant. The new base for the engine oil cooler and the engine oil filter is also improved in order to reduce the chance of external leaks.
Adaptable To: The Special Instruction, REHS3807, "A New Procedure for Replacing the Engine Oil Filter Base and the Oil Cooler on C13 Engines " provides the proper procedure to replace the base for the engine oil cooler and the engine oil filter.
Table 1 shows the effectivity of the new base for the engine oil cooler and the engine oil filter.
