Rotor Brake - Assemble
Assembly Procedure
- Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Inspect all seals. Damaged seals must be replaced. Use new Caterpillar seals for replacement.
- Install two O-ring seals (16) on piston cup (15) .

- Install piston cup (15) in housing (2) .

- Install bushing (14) and two lip seals (13) in housing (2) .
- Install two O-ring seals (12) and two back up rings (11) on piston (10) .

- Install piston (10) in housing (2) .

- Install five washers (9) on piston (10) .

- Install seal (8) and gasket (7) on end cover (6) .

- Install adjusting nut (3) and adjusting screw (4) .

- Install mounting bracket (1) on housing (2) .
End By: Install the rotor brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rotor Brake - Install".
