A New Fuel Tank Group Improves Serviceability {1273}

Usage:

416D BFP

Backhoe Loader: 416D (S/N: BFP1-UP) 420D (S/N: BLN1-UP; FDP1-UP) 430D (S/N: BML1-UP; BNK1-UP)

Description of Change: The fuel tank group for the above machines has been changed. The fuel tank group has been changed in order to increase serviceability. The fuel tank group uses a filler neck that is bolted on top of the fuel tank assembly. The tube assembly is coated in order to increase rust protection.

Adaptable To: The new 202-6019 Fuel Tank Gp can be retrofitted to the following machines: 416D Backhoe Loaders, 420D Backhoe Loaders and 430D Backhoe Loaders. The fuel tank group is effective with the serial numbers in Table 1.

Note: A 180-3730 Fuel Filter (A) is available from a parts department. The fuel filter is used as a fuel fill screen. The screen can be installed into the 201-1835 Tube As. The fuel filter is not installed with the 202-6019 Fuel Tank Gp from the factory.
