Final Drive Planetary (Axle) Oil - Change

- Move the machine until the plug is in the six o'clock position. Remove the plug and allow the gear lubricant to drain into a suitable container. Dispose of the oil in an acceptable manner.

- Clean the plug. After the oil is drained, install the drain plug.
- Move the machine until the plug is in the three o'clock position or the nine o'clock position. Add the gear lubricant.

- Clean the plug. Install the plug.
- Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities and Capacities (Refill)".
- Repeat the procedure on the other final drive.
