The use of a defective longitudinal stability indicator (LSI) could lead to the instability of the machine. Do not operate the machine if the LSI is not fully serviceable. The instability of the machine could cause personal injury or death. |

The longitudinal stability indicator is located on the right side console.
Park the machine on level ground. Fully retract the boom and fully lower the boom. Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position and ensure that the parking brake is engaged.

Display Module (Front Panel Indicators and Switch) (1) Green "power on" indicator. (2) Green 50% load indicator. (3) Green 60% load indicator. (4) Green 65% load indicator. (5) Green 70% load indicator. (6) Green 75% load indicator. (7) Green 80% load indicator. (8 and 9) Amber 85% load indicators. (10 and 11) Red 100% load indicators. (12) "TEST" switch. |
When "TEST" switch (12) is depressed, Indicators (1) through indicator (11) on the visual display unit will illuminate and an audible alarm will sound constantly. Once the "TEST" switch is released the display should revert to the former setting. The audible alarm will be silenced.
If the system operates in any other way, the system is not serviceable. Necessary repairs or adjustments must then be carried out before the machine is returned to service.
