Description of Change: An improved throttle control group is now available. The improved throttle control group has the following features: a sealed sensor unit, a higher mounting position and improved resistance to corrosion.
Adaptable To: The new 9EP9875 Throttle Control Group is adaptable to S/N:R2900-101 and Up
and R2900 (S/N: 5TW1-UP) by using the following procedure.

Procedure
- Remove 9EP7977 Plate (3) on machines S/N:5TW321-UP
only.
- Remove 9EL5234 Pad Assembly (1) .
- Remove the following items: 9EP7975 Panel (2), 9EL3817 Panel (4), 9EL3200 Cover (5) and Throttle Pedal (6) .
- Remove throttle position sensor (7) and remove the wiring harness. Discard the throttle position sensor (7) and discard the wiring harness.

- Install the 9EP8634 Rod End (20). Refer to Illustration 7.
- Install throttle pedal (6) in the cab.

- Install 9EL3200 Cover (5) .
- Install 9EP9228 Wiring Harness (21) by using 3S-2093 Cable Straps to secure the harness into position.
- Install 9EL3817 Panel (4) .
- Install 9EP7977 Plate (3) .
- Install 9EP7975 Panel (2) .
- Install 9EL5234 Pad Assembly (1) .
- Install 9EP8632 Throttle Linkage Rod (24) between 9EP8634 Rod End (20) and 7X-7662 Rod End (10) .
- Use your Electronic Technician in order to check the status of the throttle position. Adjust the throttle linkage rod in order to achieve the maximum travel for the throttle.
