(1) Torque for the two 3B-8488 Grease Fitting ... 8 ± 1 N·m (71 ± 9 lb in)
(2) Torque for the 12 8T-7338 Bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (199 ± 30 lb ft)
(3) Torque for the 20 8T-4136 Bolts ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)
(4) Apply 5P-3414 Pipe Sealant to the threads of the 3S-9182 Magnetic Plug. Torque for the 3S-9182 Magnetic Plug ... 75 ± 7 N·m (55 ± 5 lb ft)
(5) The interior of the chain drive housing must be clean. The mating surfaces of the plates and the frame must be free of oil prior to application of the 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket. Apply the silicone gasket in bolt holes. Apply a 3.0 ± 1.0 mm (0.12 ± 0.04 inch) continuous bead of silicone gasket in bolt pattern. Seal the two 191-2894 Plates to the frame. Assemble the plates within three minutes of applying the silicone gasket to the frame.
(6) The interior of the chain drive housing must be clean. The mating surfaces of the covers and the frame must be free of oil prior to application of the 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket. Apply the silicone gasket in bolt holes. Apply a 3.0 ± 1.0 mm (0.12 ± 0.04 inch) continuous bead of silicone gasket in bolt pattern. Seal the four 142-8896 Covers to the frame. Assemble the covers within three minutes of applying the silicone gasket to the frame.
(7) Torque for the 16 5C-9553 Bolts ... 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in)
(8) Torque for the four 8T-4908 Bolts ... 28 ± 7 N·m (21 ± 5 lb ft)
(9) Apply 5P-3414 Pipe Sealant to the threads of the three 3S-9182 Magnetic Plugs. Torque for the 3S-9182 Magnetic Plugs ... 75 N·m (55 lb ft)
(10) The 142-8823 Gasket is made from rubber. The 142-8823 Gasket is 3.0 mm (0.12 inch) thick.
(11) Torque for the six 8T-7338 Bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (199 ± 30 lb ft)
