The Bearing Assembly for the Transfer Gear Assembly Has Changed {3159}

Description of Change: A new tapered roller bearing is now used on the idler gear in the transfer gear for the transmission. The bearing was changed in order to improve service life.
Adaptable To: The new 165-0002 Bearing is a direct replacement for the former 6M-9497 Roller Bearing As. The bearing assembly is part of the 8E-3029 Transfer Gears and Case Gp for the 16H Motor Grader and part of the 8E-3027 Transfer Gears and Case Gp for the 14H Motor Grader.
Refer to Table 1 for the effective machines. The new bearing is adaptable to earlier machines.
