Description of Change: The new 194-6662 Rotor Cover Gp is now available. The kit should be installed in order to harvest small grain crops in dry conditions. The kit is designed to reduce the bridging of straw and chaff between the rotors.
The new 198-4312 Rotor Cover Gp may be necessary when harvesting small grain crops and significant amounts of chaff and fragments of straw are present and conditions are dry. The kit reduces overloading of the cleaning system. The kit covers 80 degrees of the perforated section of the rotor housing.
The 194-6662 Rotor Cover Gp and the 198-4312 Rotor Cover Gp are not recommended for harvesting corn or soybeans.
