(1) Adjustment screw (2) Test ports (3) Electrical displacement control (EDC) |
- Set the load controller in the MANUAL position.
- Engage the parking brake.
- Start the engine and place the machine in fourth gear. Run the engine at high idle.
- Stroke the propel pump by moving the manual control lever on top of electrical displacement control (EDC) (3) .
- Loosen the locknut on adjustment screw (1). Insert a 3 mm internal hex wrench in adjustment screw (1). Rotate the adjustment screw clockwise until the pressure increases in one of the two pressure gauges.
- While you count the number of turns, rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise until pressure increases in the other pressure gauge.
- Rotate the adjustment screw clockwise to the midpoint. At this point, both pressure gauges should indicate identical pressures.
- While you hold the adjustment screw stationary with the internal hex wrench, tighten the locknut to a torque of 7 N·m (60 lb in).
- Slow the engine to low idle. Put the machine in neutral, and stop the engine.
- Remove the pressure gauges from the test ports. Install the plugs in the propel pump.
