Description of Change: A new 196-9646 Transmission Control is now available for field service of articulated trucks with the above serial number prefixes. This new shifter replaces 139-5776 Transmission Control. For improved service life, the 196-9646 Transmission Control offers a hardened pin and a hardened fork.
A new 196-1849 Pin Kit is also available. The 196-1849 Pin Kit includes a hardened pin and a hardened fork. The 196-1849 Pin Kit can be used to repair the 139-5776 Transmission Control and the 196-9646 Transmission Control.
