Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the water separator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Separator (Fuel Priming Pump and Primary Fuel Filter) - Remove".

1. Remove cap assembly (1), seal (2), guide (3), spring (4), and bladder (6) from filter base (5) .

2. Remove O-ring seal (7) from bladder (6) .

3. Remove valve (20) from bowl (16). Remove washer (18) from the valve.

4. Loosen cap (14), and remove bowl (16) from element (11) .

5. Remove bolt (19) from bowl (16). Remove O-ring seal (17) from bolt (19) .

6. Remove bowl (16) from cap (14). Remove seals (13) and (15) from the cap.

7. Remove ring (12) and element (11) from filter base (5) .

8. Remove seal (10) from the filter base.

9. Remove plug (9) from filter base (5). Remove washer (8) from the plug.
