Assembly Procedure

1. Install packings (13) and the backup rings in the grooves of the bores.

2. Install Tooling (C) in boot (12).

3. Install boot (12) in the groove of the bore.
   Show/hide table

4. Lubricate piston (11) before inserting piston (11) through Tooling (C) and the bore.

5. Use Tooling (B) in order to push piston (11) to the bottom of the bore.

6. Make sure that boot (12) is engaged in the groove of the bore.

7. Remove Tooling (B) and Tooling (C).

8. Repeat Steps 2 through 7 in order to install the pistons and the boots for the remaining two bores.

9. Install seals (6) and plugs (7).

10. Install bolts (4) and plate (5).

11. Install packings (10) and the backup rings to the bores.

12. Install Tooling (C) in boot (9). Install boot (9) in the groove of the bore.

13. Lubricate piston (8) before inserting piston (8) through Tooling (C) and the bore.

14. Position Tooling (D) against piston (8).

15. Expand Tooling (D) in order to push piston (8) into the bore. Install the remaining two boots and pistons in the same manner. Remove Tooling (D).

16. Install Tooling (D) and Tooling (E) in order to push the pistons to the bottom of the bores.

17. Remove Tooling (D) and Tooling (E). Make sure that boots (9) are engaged in the grooves of the bores.

18. Install bolts (3) and pins (2) to brake caliper (1).

1. Install the service brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Service Brake - Install".
