Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the service brakes. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Service Brake - Remove".

1. Remove bolts (3) and pins (2) from brake caliper (1).

2. Remove bolts (4) and plate (5).

3. Remove plugs (7) and seals (6).
   Show/hide table

4. Remove pistons (8).
   Show/hide table

5. Remove boot (9).
   Show/hide table

6. Remove packing (10) and the backup ring.

7. Repeat Steps 4, 5 and 6 in order to remove the pistons, the boots, and the packings from the remaining two bores.

8. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove piston (11).

9. Remove boot (12).

10. Remove packing (13) and the backup ring.

11. Repeat Steps 8, 9 and 10 in order to remove the pistons, the boots, and the packings from the remaining two bores.
