(4) Before installation, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the socket setscrew. Adjust the position of the coupler assembly so that the linkage rods are vertical and so that the linkage rods do not bind. Minimize the side motion of the coupler assembly.

(12) Before you install the shaft, apply 2P-9065 Lubricant around both of the bearing surfaces.
(13) The lowest point of the pedal is off the floorplate to a dimension of 28.0 ± 2.0 mm (1.10 ± 0.08 inch) when the heel of the pedal is depressed fully. Minimize the side to side pedal motion. Assemble the pedal in order to allow side play to a dimension of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to 1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
