(1) Torque for the locknut ... 30.0 ± 7.0 N·m (22.00 ± 5.00 lb ft)

(2) Before you bolt the bearings to the tower assembly, torque the bolt (5) through the spacer and the bearings.

(3) Torque for the locknut ... 30.0 ± 7.0 N·m (22.00 ± 5.00 lb ft)

(4) Torque for the nut ... 20.0 ± 5.0 N·m (15.00 ± 4.00 lb ft)

(5) Torque the bolt through the spacer and the bearings before you bolt the bearings to the tower assembly.

(6) Torque for the nut ... 20.0 ± 5.0 N·m (15.00 ± 4.00 lb ft)

(7) Adjust the position of the console in order to ensure full lever travel in all directions.

(1) Orientation of all the levers is vertical below the bottom bend 90° ± 1°.

(2) Adjust the position of the console in order to ensure full lever travel in all directions.

(3) Torque for the locknut ... 30.0 ± 7.0 N·m (22.00 ± 5.00 lb ft)

(4) Before installation, apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the socket setscrew. Adjust the position of the coupler assembly so that the linkage rods are vertical and so that the linkage rods do not bind. Minimize the side motion of the coupler assembly.

(5) Torque for the locknut ... 30.0 ± 7.0 N·m (22.00 ± 5.00 lb ft)

(6) Before you bolt the bearings to the tower assembly, torque the bolt (5) through the spacer and the bearings.

(9) Tap on the shaft with a rubber mallet in order to align the bearings. The shaft assembly must rotate freely.

(10) Torque for the nuts ... 30.0 ± 7.0 N·m (22.00 ± 5.00 lb ft)

(11) Torque for the nut ... 20.0 ± 5.0 N·m (15.00 ± 4.00 lb ft)

(12) Before you install the shaft, apply 2P-9065 Lubricant around both of the bearing surfaces.

(13) The lowest point of the pedal is off the floorplate to a dimension of 28.0 ± 2.0 mm (1.10 ± 0.08 inch) when the heel of the pedal is depressed fully. Minimize the side to side pedal motion. Assemble the pedal in order to allow side play to a dimension of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to 1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
