This fault code appears when the radar signal input is detected without detecting a radar sense input (+12V). The fault may be due to the radar sense line being open or shorted. This fault code can only be detected while the machine is moving.
This fault code can also be caused by not having the radar adapter harness (6) installed between the radar connector and C158.
- Inspect the Rear Main harness, radar, connector C002, connector C158 and radar adapter harness for damage, separated or loose connectors. Repair or reconnect as needed. Check active fault codes.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, go to Step 2.
- NO, repair is complete.
- YES, go to Step 2.
- Disconnect existing radar and connect a radar from another machine or use a new part. Check active fault code.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, go to Step 3.
- NO, replace the old radar assembly with a new part.
- YES, go to Step 3.
- Disconnect connectors C002 at the Chassis Control Module (CCM) and C158 near the radar. Check Rear Main harness for open circuit between C002-1 and C158-4. Be sure to check C158-4 and not the radar adapter harness (6) connector. Locate and repair open circuit as needed. Check active fault codes.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, go to Step 4.
- NO, repair is complete.
- YES, go to Step 4.
- Check Rear Main harness for short circuit to chassis ground from C158-4. Be sure to check C158-4 and not the radar adapter harness (6) connector. Locate and repair short circuit as needed. Check active fault codes.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, go to Step 5.
- NO, repair is complete.
- YES, go to Step 5.
- Download latest control module software into all control modules.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, go to Step 6.
- NO, repair is complete. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
- YES, go to Step 6.
- Replace the Chassis Control Module (CCM).
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.
- NO, go to Step 7.
- YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.
- Install the original CCM.
Expected Result: The fault code is active.
- YES, original CCM was faulty. Replace original CCM with new CCM. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
- NO, this fault code may have been caused by faulty connectors. Keep the original on the tractor. Clean all terminals on the CCM and reconnect. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
- YES, original CCM was faulty. Replace original CCM with new CCM. If fault code is not active, repair is complete. Download latest control module software into all modules. Calibrate transmission and three-point hitch.
