Your machine may be equipped with a vacuum pump. The switch for the vacuum pump is located near the hydraulic oil level sight gauge on the right side of the machine.

Open the hood behind the cab. Press the top of the breaker relief valve (1) in order to relieve any pressure in the tank. The left switch (2) controls the vacuum pump. The right switch operates the oil pump. Move switch (2) downward in order to turn on the vacuum pump.

Operating the vacuum pump will create a vacuum in the hydraulic tank. This will allow you to remove a hydraulic oil line without losing much oil from the tank. When work is completed, move the switch upward in order to turn off the vacuum pump.

After the vacuum pump has been turned off, press the top of the breaker relief valve (1) in order to relieve any vacuum in the tank.
