(1) Diameter of a new cylinder rod ... 50.750 ± 0.038 mm (1.9980 ± .0015 inch)
(2) Bore of a new cylinder tube ... 88.90 ± .08 mm (3.500 ± .003 inch)
(3) Bore of a new cylinder head ... 51.03 ± .03 mm (2.009 ± .001 inch)
(4) Lubricate the threads with clean grease. Torque for the cylinder head ... 600 ± 130 N·m (440 ± 95 lb ft)
(5) Lubricate the threads. Torque for the bolt ... 1125 ± 100 N·m (830 ± 75 lb ft)
(6) Lubricate the sealing lips with a minimal amount of the lubricant that is being sealed.
Steering Cylinder Drift
The maximum permissible drift per minute for the steering cylinder is 3 mm (.1 inch) at the following conditions:
- Oil temperature ... 38 to 54°C (100 to 130°F)
- Supply pressure ... 23000 kPa (3350 psi)
