Setup Procedure

Complete the following procedures before testing the all wheel drive system:

  • Ensure that the all wheel drive piston motors are full of hydraulic oil.

  • The motor grader is in first gear forward.

  • The all wheel drive piston motors are operating properly.

  • All faults are cleared from the all wheel drive electronic control module.

  • Ensure that the front wheels will stop, when the transmission modulator pedal is depressed.

Road Test For All Wheel Drive Motor Graders

before testing, warm the hydraulic oil. The oil must be at a minimum temperature of 60°C (140°F).

Check the all wheel drive system for any hydraulic oil leaks. Check the all wheel drive electronic control module for any logged faults.
