The three-point hitch on this machine will accept implements that conform to the standard dimensions of the SAE and of the ASAE. The hitch will accept the following implements: category lll and category lllN.The following items are major components of the three-point hitch:
- Lift link (1)
- Top link (2)
- Lift arm (3)
- Draft arm (4)
- Sway limiters (5)
Several adjustments can be made to the hitch linkage in order to accommodate the operational requirements of different implements. The following adjustments are available:
Adjustment of the Lift Links
Illustration 2 | g00633356 |
The length of each lift link is separately adjustable. The lift links can be used for side-to-side levelling of the implement. In order to adjust either lift link, remove pin (1). Next, lower cover (2) so that the cover engages flats (3) in order to adjust the length of the lift link. The lift links may be adjusted from a range of 710 mm (28.0 inch) to 825 mm (32.5 inch). After the adjustment, reinstall cover (2). Make sure that cover (2) covers plate (4). This secures the lift link in position. Reinstall pin (1) .
Draft Arm
The draft arms will float with the contour of the ground in order to improve the ability of the implement to follow uneven terrain. When possible, use the float for the draft arms.

Install the pin into hole (1) in order to prevent the float.

Remove the pin from hole (1) in order to allow the float. Store the pin in hole (2) .
Adjustment of the Top Link
Illustration 5 | g00576291 |
Top link (1) adjusts the fore/aft pitch of the implement relative to the machine. In order to adjust the top link, release lever (2) by lifting in the upward direction. Use lever (3) in order to adjust the length of top link (1). If necessary, use a wrench on the flats that are on the top link in order to adjust the length.
Note: Grooves that are located on the top link indicate the maximum usable length. Do not extend beyond these grooves. The recommended working range for the top link is 605 mm (23.8 inch) to 775 mm (30.5 inch).
When the desired length is obtained, slightly rotate the lever while you are lowering the lever. The lever will lock when the lever is on top of the top link. The lever will also lock when the lever is on the bottom of the center link.
Note: The top link can be hooked up directly to an implement by using a 153-7571 Bushing. This bushing is shipped with the machine.
