Installation Procedure

1. Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

2. Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

3. Position front engine support (2) to the engine trunnion. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of bolts (6). Install four bolts (6) and the hard washers that hold front engine support (2) to the engine trunnion.

4. Use Tool (B) (not shown) in order to lower the front of the engine until front engine support (2) contacts the support assembly.

5. Tighten two full nuts (5) on the mount assembly to a torque of 475 ± 60 N·m (350 ± 44 lb ft).

6. Tighten two full nuts (4) on the mount assembly to a torque of 475 ± 60 N·m (350 ± 44 lb ft).

7. Install the hard washers, four bolts (1) and the full nuts that hold front engine support (2) to support assembly (4). Tighten four bolts (1) to a torque of 475 ± 60 N·m (350 ± 44 lb ft).

8. Remove Tool (B) and Tooling (A) from the bottom of the cylinder block assembly.

End By:

1. Install the vibration damper. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vibration Damper - Remove and Install".

2. Install the fan drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Drive - Install".

3. Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Pan - Install".
