(1) Torque for two bolts ... 41 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft)

(2) 112-8794 Pad

Thickness of one brake pad ... 3.1 + 0.3 - 0.0 mm (.12 + .01 - .00 inch)

Thickness of friction material ... 1.10 + 0.20 - 0.00 mm (.043 + .008 - .000 inch)

Note: Replace the brake pads when the 0.5 mm (.02 inch) grooves are gone from the friction material.

(3) 112-8795 Pad

Thickness of one brake pad ... 4.2 + 0.3 - 0.0 mm (.17 + .01 - .00 inch)

Thickness of friction material ... 1.10 + 0.20 - 0.00 mm (.043 + .008 - .000 inch)

Note: Replace the brake pads when the 0.5 mm (.02 inch) grooves are gone from the friction material.

(4) Torque for plug ... 160 ± 20 N·m (120 ± 15 lb ft)

Adjustment and Installation Procedure

1. Verify that lever (8) is installed in the support (7). The placement is shown in Illustration 1.

2. Install lever (6) to the shaft of lever (8) .

3. Place lever (8) in the vertical position. Place the square edge (D) on the housing. The placement is shown in Illustration 2. Align lever (8) with the square edge (D) .

4. Adjust lever (6) on the shaft in order to achieve dimension (C). Dimension (C) is 35 mm (1.4 inch).
