------ WARNING! ------

Escaping fluid under pressure, even a pinhole size leak, can penetrate body tissue, causing serious injury, and possible death. If fluid is injected into your skin, it must be treated immediately by a doctor familiar with this type of injury.

Always use a board or cardboard when checking for a leak.

----------------------

  1. Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank. Slowly loosen the hydraulic tank filler cap in order to release any pressure. Then, remove the filler cap.

  1. Inspect all oil lines, all hydraulic connections, and the valves for leaks and for damage.

  1. Inspect the brake control linkages for any damage. Check the adjustments.

  1. Remove the filter elements and check for foreign material. Use a magnet to separate iron particles from other material. If any iron particles are found, a component in the brake system may be damaged. If a component is damaged, make the necessary repairs. Then, flush the hydrostatic system.

  1. Check the tightening torques of all bolts.
