(C) Implement control lever (third back from the front) with knob and cable. (D) Implement control lever (fourth back from the front) with gray knob and cable. (E) Lever assembly (Three-point hitch). (F) Nut.

Hydraulic System

Note: Make all connections while the engine is OFF.

  1. Thread jam nut (2) until the nut reaches the base of the threads on implement cable (3) .

  1. Connect pivot (1) to implement cable (3). Secure jam nut (2) to pivot (1) .

  1. The valve spool on each implement valve should be in the HOLD detent position. Check each implement valve.

  1. Lock each implement control lever in HOLD position (4) .

  1. Route each implement cable (3) from the implement control lever to the respective valve spool.

  1. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for each implement control lever and implement cable.

Note: Tighten nut (F) until a force of 17.8 N (4.00 lb) is required to move three-point hitch lever (E) .

Note: The following steps are required in order to assemble each implement cable to each respective valve spool.

  1. Place implement cable (3) through flange (10) .

  1. Assemble jam nut (12) to the base of the threads that are on implement cable (3) .

  1. Assemble sleeve (9) to implement cable (3) .

  1. Assemble jam nut (8) to the threaded end of the implement cable (3) .

  1. Assemble yoke (6) to the implement cable (3) until the implement cable is flush with the bottom of yoke (6). Secure yoke (6) by tightening jam nut (8) against yoke (6) .

  1. Connect yoke (6) to the valve spool (5). Use pin (7) to secure yoke (6) .

  1. Place sleeve (9) over the end of implement cable (3) and yoke (6) .

  1. Place flange (10) over sleeve (9). During installation, finger tighten all of the hardware.

  1. Watch the implement lever and turn sleeve (9). When the implement control lever moves slightly, stop turning sleeve (9) . Secure bolts (11) and jam nut (12) .

  1. Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 11.3 N·m (100.00 lb in).

  1. Make sure that all positions on each implement control lever can be obtained.

  1. If necessary, loosen bolts (11) and jam nut (12). Then repeat Steps 15 through 17.
