Service the engine air filters with the engine stopped. Engine damage could result. |

| (1) Engine air filter service indicators | |
- Start the engine.
- Run the engine at torque converter stall speed.
- If the yellow piston in air filter service indicators (1) enters the red zone, service the air cleaner.
- Stop the engine.
Note: If the air cleaner needs service, see Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Air Filter Primary Element - Clean/Replace". See the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Air Filter Secondary Element - Replace".
