Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals. If necessary, replace any O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.

Note: Lubricate the O-ring seals with 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound.

1. Position diverter valve (3). Install diverter valve (3) with the O-ring seal, the four washers, and four bolts (8).

2. Connect the diverter valve to valve block (5) with the O-ring seal, the four washers, and four bolts (4).

3. Install fitting (2) and fitting assembly (10).

4. Install hose assemblies (1) and (9).

5. Install the split flange.

6. Connect hose assembly (7) with the O-ring seal, the four washers, and four bolts (6).

7. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.

End By:

1. Disconnect the retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
