Stopping the Machine

Park on a level surface. If it is necessary to park on a grade, block the wheels securely. Engage the parking brake. Do not engage the secondary brake while the machine is moving unless the primary service brakes fail. |
- Apply the service brakes in order to stop the machine.
- Move the transmission control lever and the transmission control switch (if equipped) to the NEUTRAL position.
- Engage the parking brake.

- Lower the bucket to the ground and apply slight downward pressure.
