Engine Starting
Apabila label peringatan terpasang pada kunci kontak engine atau pada tuas kontrol alat berat, jangan menghidupkan engine. Juga, jangan menggerakkan tuas-tuas yang ada.
Gerakkan semua tuas kontrol hidrolik ke posisi HOLD sebelum melakukan start pada engine.
Gerakkan tuas kontrol arah gerakan dan sakelar kontrol arah gerakan (bila terpasang) ke posisi NETRAL. Pada alat berat yang dilengkapi dengan sakelar kontrol arah gerakan terpisah, lampu netral pada panel instrumen harus menyala.
Pasang rem parkir.
Gas buang engine diesel mengandung produk-produk hasil pembakaran yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan. Hidupkan selalu engine di daerah yang berventilasi baik. Operasikan selalu engine di daerah yang berventilasi baik. Jika berada ditempat yang tertutup, arahkan saluran buang keluar.
