Transmission Hydraulic Control

Usage:

527 2RS

Introduction for the Power Shift

The transmission hydraulic controls are installed on the transmission planetary group. The controls have top plate (5) , selector and pressure control valve (6) , plate (7) and bottom manifold (8) .

The inlet oil pressure for the hydraulic controls comes from the priority valve. The oil then flows through tube (2) to the selector and pressure control valve.

Oil for operation of the torque converter flows through tube (3) and through an oil line to the torque converter.

Oil flows from the pressure control valve, through plate (7) and through bottom manifold (8) . The oil is then sent to the speed clutch and to the directional clutch through respective opening (9) , (10) , (11) , (12) , or (13) .
