Steering Cylinder Ends - Lubricate
Note: Refer to Special Publication, SEBU6250, "Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations" for more information on grease.

Lower the steering frame lock pin into the LOCKED position.
Note: Wipe all of the fittings before you lubricate the fittings.
- There are two steering cylinders. One steering cylinder is on the right side of the machine and one steering cylinder is on the left side of the machine. Lubricate the front lube fitting (1) on each side of the machine.

- Both the lubrication fittings for the rear end of the steering cylinders are located on the left side of the machine. Lubricate the fittings (2) for the rear end of the steering cylinders.

- Raise the steering frame lock pin into the unlocked position.
