Three-Point Hitch Side Sway

Usage:

65E 6GS

------ WARNING! ------

Do not operate the machine with the upper blocks removed.

The implement is not stable during turns and when transporting. This could cause loss of machine control and result in personal injury.

Blocks that are installed on the draft arms and blocks that are installed on the hitch support assembly prevent the three-point hitch side sway, whenever you raise the three-point hitch.

Another pair of blocks can be installed below the first pair on the support assembly. The second pair of blocks prevents the three-point hitch side sway whenever the hitch is lowered.

If the lower blocks are removed, the implement can sway by 127 mm (5 inch) to either side of the center whenever the hitch is lowered.

Turning performance and the service life of the hitch can be improved when you remove the lower blocks. The lower pair of blocks should not be installed unless there is a specific need for straight tracking of the implement. Operation of the three-point hitch with the installed blocks creates additional loading on the ball ends and on the pins. This will result in reduced service life.
