  1. Remove four bolts (1) and the washers, and remove grill assembly (2) .

  1. Use handle (3) in order to release hood (4) . Tilt the hood forward.

  1. Attach Tool (A) , a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to hood (4) .

  1. Remove cotter pin (5) and remove rod (6) .

  1. Remove nut (7) and remove strut (8) .

  1. Remove four bolts (9) and the washers, and remove hood (4) . The hood weighs approximately 116 kg (255 lb) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Attach Tool (A) , a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to hood (4) .

  1. Position hood (4) and install four bolts (9) and the washers.

  1. Install strut (8) and install nut (7) .

  1. Position rod (6) and insert cotter pin (5) . Close the hood.

  1. Position grill assembly (2) and install four bolts (1) and the washers.
