Adjusting Implement Kick-out Pressure

Usage:

45 1DR
The kickout pressure allows the implement control levers to return to the HOLD position. The implement control levers will automatically move from the EXTEND position when the kickout pressure is reached. The implement control levers will automatically move from the RETRACT position when the kickout pressure is reached. The kickout pressure is adjustable. The factory setting is 15525 kPa (2250 psi). If necessary, the kickout pressure can be adjusted from the left side of the implement valve bank.

Note: Increase the kickout pressure if an implement control lever will not stay in the detent. Do not hold the lever in the EXTEND position for an extended length of time. Do not hold the lever in the RETRACT position for an extended length of time. Excessive noise in the implement valves and heating of the hydraulic oil may occur. If a circuit is continuously operated at a high pressure, the implement control lever may not stay in the detent or there may be excessive noise. Rotate screw (1) fully inward in order to disable the kickout pressure and lower the noise.

In order to adjust the kickout pressure, loosen jam nut (2) . Next, rotate screw (1) in the clockwise direction in order to increase the kickout pressure. Rotate screw (1) in the counterclockwise direction in order to decrease the kickout pressure.

Note: Kickout pressure is dependent on hydraulic oil flow. The kickout pressure may need to be readjusted on different implements. Adjusting the implement flow control may require adjustment of the kickout pressure.
