Description of Change: New splined pins are available for the service replacement of pins in the 9R-7580, 9R-8129, 159-2653, 159-2654, 102-7601, 159-2649, 159-2645, and 124-5345 Swing Frames, the 9R-9958, 159-2657, 8Y-7233, and 159-2664 Stick Mounting Groups and the 159-2656, 9R-7583, 117-9594, 119-1216, 9R-8135, 118-5015, 9R-8132, 118-6912, 159-2661, and 159-2659 Backhoe Sticks on backhoe loaders.

Illustration 1 shows the unsplined 9R-8577 Pin that was installed in production on the 9R-7580 Swing Frame. Illustration 2 shows the new splined 130-0479 Pin that is the service part for the 9R-8577 Pin. The new splined pins distribute grease better than the unsplined production pins.

Adaptable To: The new splined pins are adaptable back to first production for the listed machines.
In the swing frames listed, position (A) used three pins and position (B) used the 9R-0234 Pin. Refer to Chart 1 for the production part numbers and the new service part numbers that are now available for positions (A) and (B).
