Fender Mud Flaps Available {7252,4220}

Usage:


Challenger 35 (8DN, 8RD, ADK),
Challenger 45 (1DR, ABF, 3BK),
Challenger 55 (7DM, 6NN, AEN) Agricultural Tractors

Description of Change: Fender extensions, commonly known as "mud flaps", are available. The extensions reduce accumulation of debris on the fenders and rear of the cab.

Adaptable To: The fender extensions are retrofittable to all Challenger 35 (8DN, 8RD, ADK), Challenger 45 (1DR, ABF, 3BK), and Challenger 55 (7DM, 6NN, AEN) Agricultural Tractors. The required parts are listed in the following table and illustration.

NOTE: Use the fender extensions as templates to mark the hole locations and drill a 8.7 mm (.34 in) diameter hole.

Installation Procedure

1. Hold up each fender extension (1) and (2) to the fender assembly. Use the holes as a template to mark hole locations.

2. Drill eight 8.7 mm (.34 in) diameter holes.

3. Install fender extensions using 8T-4138 Bolt (3), 9X-8256 Washer (4), and 5C-2890 Nut (5).
