Alternate Style Grease Gun Coupler Provides Better Service {0646}

Usage:

An alternate grease gun coupler assembly is now available. The coupler provides better service (less leakage) in applications requiring high volumes of grease at high pressures, such as undercarriage track adjuster mechanisms. The leakage can occur especially when the grease gun coupler is used on fittings not manufactured to SAE specifications or when the connection is made at a sharp angle.

The new 2M-2689 Coupler Assembly is adaptable to the 8F-9866 Grease Gun. The new coupler relies on a metal-to-rubber seal compared to the metal-to-metal seal on the standard coupler.
