Description of Change: A new fire sensor switch is used on the above machines. The new switch assembly incorporates Sure-Seal® connectors for a more reliable electrical connection. The former switch assembly used screw-type terminals.
Adaptable To: The new 7T4785 Fire Sensor Switch Assembly replaces the former 3T2739 Fire Sensor Switch Assembly which has been canceled. The new switch assembly is adaptable to 227...10W1-357 Loggers; 988B...50W6041-Up, 992C...49Z1-931 Loaders; and 834B...92Z1-Up Tractors.
To adapt this change to an earlier machine, the new switch assembly requires a Sure-Seal connector on the machines' wiring harness. See the Reference for the correct replacement procedure.
