New Brake Hoses And Support Hoses Are More Resistant To Wear{4257}

Description of Change: The brake hoses and the support hoses are now manufactured from bulk hydraulic hose rather than bulk air hose. These hoses pass over the oscillating hitch on the above trucks. Bulk hydraulic hose is smoother than bulk air hose and is therefore more resistant to wear due to rubbing.

Adaptable To: The new brake hoses and support hoses are direct replacements for the former hoses. The new hoses and effective with D25D...1HK225; D30D...3AJ167, 1PK29; D350D...9RF244; D40D...2JJ67; D400D...8TF214, 4EJ13 Trucks. The new hoses are adaptable to earlier trucks. The chart identifies the new and former part numbers.
