Usage:
1. Lift the truck body approximately 31 cm (12 in.), and put a hardwood block 20 × 20 cm (8 × 8 in.) in position on each frame rail next to the lift cylinder.
2. Lower the truck body onto the wood blocks.
NOTE: The body support (FT1437) can be installed on either frame rail.
3. Remove either pad (1) or pad (2) and the shims where the body support is to be installed.
4. Lift the truck body, and put body support (FT1437) (3) in position on the frame rail as shown. Install the two bolts that hold the body support to the frame rail.
5. Lower the body onto the body support.
6. Remove nut (4), and disconnect hoist control rod (5) from lever (6). This will prevent an operator from trying to lower the body while the body support is holding the body in an up position.
NOTE: The steps to follow are for removal of body support (FT1437).
7. Connect hoist control rod (5) to lever (6), and install nut (4).
8. Put a hard wood block 20 × 20 cm (8 × 8 in.) in position on each frame rail next to the lift cylinders.
9. Lift the truck body off of the body support (FT1437).
10. Remove the bolts that fasten body support (3) to the frame rail, and remove the body support.
11. Lower the body support to the wood block.
12. Install the shims and pad (1) or (2).
13. Lift the truck body, and remove the wood blocks. Lower the body to the frame.
