Usage:
start by:
a) remove automatic timing advance
b) remove fuel injection pump housing and governor
c) remove fuel transfer pump
d) remove service meter
e) remove tachometer drive (if so equipped)
1. Remove four bolts (1) and retainer (2) that hold the fuel injection pump and governor drive to the timing gear plate.
2. Remove injection pump and governor drive (3) from engine.
3. Clean the contact surfaces of the fuel injection pump and governor drive and the front cover.
4. Install a new gasket between the fuel injection pump and governor drive and the front cover.
5. Put the injection pump and governor drive (3) in position in the timing gear.
6. Install retainer (2) and four bolts (1) that hold injection pump and governor drive to timing gear plate.
end by:
a) install fuel injection pump housing and governor
b) install automatic timing advance
c) install service meter
d) install fuel transfer pump
e) install tachometer drive (if so equipped)
