SUPPLEMENT FOR 768C TRACTOR & 769C TRUCK & 771C QUARRY TRUCK Caterpillar

Start By:

a. remove turbocharger (4MF)

1. Remove clamp (1).

NOTE: Mark the original position of each clamp with respect to the position of the screw.

2. Remove tube (2).

3. Remove tube (3).

4. Remove tube (6).

5. Remove tube (5).

6. Remove manifold (4).

7. Install the components in the reverse order. Install the clamps with the screws in the original position.

8. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads of the bolt for clamp (1). Tighten the bolt to a torque of 18 to 32 N·m (13 to 24 lb ft).
