Fuel Injection Lines

Usage:

Remove Fuel Injection Lines

1. Disconnect the fuel lines from cylinder heads (1) and fuel injection pump housing (2).

2. Remove bolts (3) that hold the fuel injection lines to the aftercooler.

3. Remove fuel lines (4) as a unit from the engine.

4. Put caps or plugs in all the fuel openings.

Install Fuel Injection Lines


NOTICE

If new fuel lines are used for replacement, remove the identification tags from the lines. The tags can cause wear on the fuel lines.


1. Put fuel lines (1) in position on the engine.

2. Install the two bolts that hold the fuel lines to the aftercooler.

3. Tighten nuts (2) on the fuel lines to a torque of 31 ± 5 lb.ft. (41 ± 7 N·m).
